Update on Consultation
Dunton Park Residents' Association
Just as a quick summary, we’ve now attacked Regency’s plans to place additional homes on both Manstead and Main Drive, from every angle. The company are pressing ahead - with preperation even starting before the expiry date on their consultation document!
• A letter has been sent to the Basildon Council Licensing Officer asking for urgent intervention, and she has confirmed she is currently looking into the issues raised.
• A letter has been sent to Basildon Council Planning, and an enforecment officer has spoken to us this morning and confirmed they are reviewing our concerns about potential planning breaches.
• A letter has also been sent to Natural England, and we are awaiting their response regarding wildlife disturbance, protected species and environmental damage.
As you can see, we are doing everything we can to stop these absurd plans that have no consideration for residents. Watch this space.
