We completely understand how much frustration the Manstead development has caused. Regency’s approach hasn’t helped matters — instead of working collaboratively with the RA, they went directly to residents, asking people to agree to things they didn’t actually need to. This has left the Residents’ Association feeling undermined, because whenever we raise an issue with Sally from the development team, she simply says that residents have already agreed.

From our perspective, the whole process has been a botch. It's also lacked vital conversations, and that’s still continuing. People want to know when the area will be tidied, when the roads will be put back properly, and when the disruption will finally end. At the moment, the development team aren't really engaging with us, so the RA is considering taking the matter to tribunal becasue they continue to ignore their obligations to us as a QRA.
