Water Outage

We became aware at about 8.45pm last night that the water supply was off across the whole site. We got straight onto Sharon, who replied quickly, and her team were on standby in case any park works were involved, while I was on hold with Essex and Suffolk Water.
They confirmed it was a major outage affecting a large area, not just us, starting on the A127 where police had stopped traffic. The affected postcodes included SS16, SS14, SS15, CM12, RM14, CM11, and CM13.
Water was reinstated during the night, but pressure is still very low this morning. Some people may find their boiler won’t fire up properly because the pressure isn’t high enough to heat water.
We have spoken to ESW this morning and they say engineers are still on site on A127. They’re still working to restore full service, but getting drinking water flowing again was their first priority.
I'm off to work now ... cold shower for me 🥶
