We know everyone is frustrated with how Regency are behaving. For many of us it feels like déjà vu - the same issues we had with Royale are happening all over again.

You spend £200–300k buying a home on this site, then pay a pitch fee that’s basically a small mortgage, yet we’re treated like something the cat dragged in.

The current strength of feeling is completely understandable. Development works started before the published end date of the consultation, and long‑standing hedges were ripped up even though that wasn’t part of the stated plans. And it’s not just Dunton. Other parks are reporting the same - long‑standing hedges ripped out, mature trees removed, even nature trails destroyed. And of course, many of the staff responsible are ex‑Royale anyway, so none of this comes as a surprise.

What makes it even more short‑sighted is the reputational damage they’re doing to themselves. Across social media, the conversation around Regency Living has turned overwhelmingly negative. They’re creating their own PR disaster, and it’s completely self‑defeating.

With the office empty most of the time, residents naturally come to us - so we hear the frustration every single day.

But please try to keep that anger professional. Contractors on site have reported being shouted and sworn at. They shouldn’t be the target - they’re just doing the job they’ve been told to do. Aggression towards staff or contractors doesn’t align with park rules and won’t help our case.

What you can do is give honest, factual reviews of life at Dunton. Regency are trying to sell new homes on site, and potential buyers deserve to know what the company is really like. It's perfectly legitimate to tell people about your experience truthfully.

Personally speaking, we certainly won’t be recommending Dunton to anyone while the current management continue to behave like this.
