New Gates Upgrade

We met with Regency today to discuss a nice upgrade to the gates:
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR). Instead of fumbling with fobs, you would have two vehicle registration plates registered to your home. The gates will recognize your car as you approach and open automatically. We know lots of residents find it physically difficult to lean out of the window to reach the reader, so this should make coming home much easier!
You can still phone to open the gates as you can now, that won't change. And the process for visitors remains exactly the same.
This is still in the early stages. Regency will send out letters when it's due with full details on how to register your vehicles. They're aiming to have the system live before summer.
