This Saturday 17 August is the resident's associations annual summer party in the cul-de-sac at Manstead Close. The forecast looks lovely, 23 degrees, sunshine and a gentle breeze.

Just to recap -

  • This will be from 12.30 and should be all over by 6.30pm.
  • There will be music and singing but out of respect for our neighbours, no later than 6.30pm.
  • The road will remain open and there will be access for emergency vehicles for the duration of the event. However, we would suggest that any Manstead residents who plan on going out that afternoon, move their car to one of the communal car parks before midday.
  • All residents are welcome. We will provide lots of communal tables and chairs but you're welcome to bring your picnic blankets and/or tables and chairs.
  • Bring your own food and drinks
  • We have engaged with residents affected to see if they have any issues/questions and we're pleased to say no one has come forward with concerns.
  • We carried out a thorough written risk assesment to make sure the event is safe.
  • Last year everyone said it was a great way to bring the community together so here's to another success.
