We’ve done a walkaround with the new site manager to point out the problems with those 3 proposed houses and the new bin store location.

Things we pointed out ⤵️

At Manstead:
Loss of green space: We’d be losing valuable communal amenity space.
Too cramped: The area isn't actually big enough to meet the legal "statutory distance" requirements.
Bad placement: The proposed houses are way too close to the pump station.
Access issues: We’d lose the turning circle, making the road much harder to navigate.

At Main Drive:
Parking: The new plans would mean losing several existing parking spaces.
Bin Store: Moving the bins closer to people's front doors creates more problems than it solves. Plus, the new area is too small and the raised drains mean it's not even a practical spot for it.

Have your say: If you have any other feedback, please drop Ryan an email at [email protected].

He’s going to take all our comments back to the development team at head office (who came up with these changes) and try to find a way forward that actually works for us.
